Description

In these two entries, Swenson celebrates finally getting a steady job, at the Federal Writers Project of Greater New York, and relays a conversation with Bob [last name unknown] about his romantic intentions and her existing relationship with Arnold Kates. She reveals that she doesn't love either.
Later that evening she goes to an outdoor concert with her friend Doris Smith, with whom she had been attending anti-Hitler protests that year, and she repeats her excitement about her new job at the FWP which starts the next morning.
