Description
Swenson's first poetry collection, compiled for submission to the Yale Younger Poets Competition, in 1939. [She noted on page 3 it being compiled 1949 or 1950 but according to her diary she compiled and submitted it in 1939.] The collection of 45 poems was divided into three parts. Swenson did not win the contest and the collection went unpublished.
