Description
This interview was most likely recorded in 1992 when Gass was a visiting scholar at the Getty Institute in Los Angeles. The interviewer is Jay Kugelman of the Poetic License radio show, who also interviews him on the KPFK tape, also in this exhibit. On this tape he talks about Kohler and The Tunnel in relation to the state of the country, his relationship with editors, and more.
In this selection Gass talks about his relationship with editors, the editing process and almost never allowing any changes beyond copy editing.
