Florida was Williams' home for decades, including Sarasota and Fiesta Key, and it has been the subject and/or setting of both her fiction and nonfiction. We feature here a newspaper opinion piece she wrote on the state's unsustainable tourism practices, two editions of her Florida Keys guidebook that contain stapled-in updates, a proof of her essay in Harper's about devaluing her land, and a typescript of her essay on the Florida Everglades.
