Ill Nature

Williams' only book of collected essays was not picked up by her usual publisher, Knopf, instead published by The Lyons Press. As the "Rants and Reflections on Humanity and Other Animals" indicates, the content of Ill Nature is direct and uncompromising. In this section we see the Esquire essay "Save the Whales Screw the Shrimp" with edits for the book, an alternative book cover, a letter from dedicatee Richard Ford, a review by Joseph McElroy, and a short Q&A with Williams.
