This schedule records Bang’s planned visit to the offices of The New Yorker on June 24, 2011, where she was scheduled to meet with editor Rebecca Foresman at 4 Times Square, the magazine’s then‑headquarters before its later move to Lower Manhattan.. The appointment occurred just days before the magazine published Bang’s poem “The Circus Watcher” in its June 27, 2011 issue and later in the July 4, 2011 print edition.
