Una muñeca para tirar
Una muñeca para tirar / A Doll for Throwing by Mary Jo Bang Translated by Patricio Grinberg and Aníbal Cristobo (2019)
In A Doll for Throwing (2017), Bang writes “from the interior through another,” reclaiming erased histories. In lines like “I photographed myself as if I were a building” (Me fotografié como si fuera un edificio), she blurs boundaries between the self and other material forms. Just as she translated Dante, Bang’s own work has been translated.
