The exhibition Re-Drawn: Pictures, Plots & Portrayals from Special Collections presents materials curated by the Master of Fine Arts in Illustration and Visual Culture (MFA-IVC) first year students as a part of their Exhibition & Engagement course requirement for spring semester 2024.

The exhibition was the culmination of the planning and development of exhibitions in Special Collections. Students participating in the class conducted research with materials from the Dowd Illustration Research Archive, Rare Books, and other collections. The students organized individual physical exhibitions and populated a digital exhibit to document the installation. The purpose of the exhibit was to gain an understanding of practical and theoretical issues related to studying and displaying library collections.
